incorporated in the Full Terrain Vehicle (FTV™)
to new technologies currently in development,
Torvec continues to draw upon its expertise to
deliver solutions that satisfy consumer desires
and solve everyday problems. The engineers at
Torvec recognize the need for solutions to problems
such as dependence on imported oil, noxious emissions,
and poor road conditions throughout the world.
The
FTV™ Gives Rise to Component Technologies
The entire patented portfolio of technologies
at Torvec has been developed as a direct result
of our desire to build the Full Terrain Vehicle™.
During the development of a working FTV™
prototype, Torvec faced a number of technical
challenges. Each challenge was addressed and these
efforts now allow us to offer the component technologies
for automotive and other commercial applications.
Results
must be verified in real life tests. Decision
cycles are abbreviated due to more than 70 years
of engineering experience and a healthy portion
of common sense. Each of Torvec's products which
is now ready for commercialization has been through
generations of prototype design and improvement.
Torvec's
goal is to engineer products that are simpler,
lighter, more efficient and are the lowest cost
to manufacture in high volumes.
Torvec's
investors own an array of technology which is
both actively nurtured and aggressively protected.
The products in the portfolio, when viewed individually
or seen as a cluster of inter-related technologies,
are a valuable asset. Torvec
goes to great lengths to protect these assets,
and as the Company nears the point when some or
