Recent History

Recent history has seen the Gleasman talent turn itself to the commercial sector. The development of the Iso-Torque™ differential, the CV Joint, and the Full Terrain Vehicle™, are all recent testaments to the Gleasman portfolio of innovation. All of these technologies form the product underpinning of the family-controlled, publicly traded Torvec, Inc., an exciting development stage automotive technology company.

Keith and Jim Gleasman, along with Torvec engineers, are co-inventors on many of the new technology patents. The Gleasman family legacy lives on.

With dozens of patents, worldwide recognition such as nomination for the Lemelson-MIT Award, and numerous publications including Popular Science and Popular Mechanics in his portfolio of achievements, Vernon Gleasman passes the torch to a new generation of talent at Torvec. The technical foundation of this exciting automotive technology company, however, bears the unmistakable print of a true pioneer, Vernon Gleasman.
